Service Terms & Conditions

  1. In the instance of any deliberate damage to the equipment occurring during the hire, the client will be liable to cover the repair costs where necessary.
  2. Your booking is NOT confirmed a £50 non-refundable deposit is paid. Failure to do this will result in us releasing the hire.
  3. No stickers or adhesive backed consumables should be stuck to the Magic Mirror unless prior consent. Removal of these items will be charged if consent wasn’t arranged.
  4. Remaining balance is to be made 7 days prior to the event/hire date unless otherwise stated otherwise.
  5. If payments can’t be made on the date set out in the Invoice provided, then the client should state this prior, and an alternative payment date arranged.
  6. We reserve the right to charge interest on late payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (interest) Act 1998 if we are not paid according to agreed payment terms.
  7. In the instance of cancelling the service, the client agrees to give a minimum of 30 days’ notice by email to info@illuminationevents.co.uk, otherwise the remaining balance will be due.
  8. Any requests and demands should be sent via email to info@illuminationevents.co.uk at least 3 days prior to the hire.
  9. By paying the deposit, you are confirming that you are abiding with any GDPR Rules around the UK. Any photos which will be shared on social media, are under the responsibility of the person who is booking our service.
  10. The equipment hired should not leave the premises of where the hire is originally taking place. Should it need to leave the premise, then please make a member of the Illumination Events team aware by email.
  11. Drinks & Breakages: We understand, you can’t police drinks on the dance floor. However, if an instance has occurred where a drink has been spilt or a glass has been smashed. Please clear it up immediately. Failure to comply may result in us charging an excessive cleaning fee. No Illumination Events staff will be responsible to clear up any smashed glass off the Dance Floors upon collection.
  12. LEVEL ACCESS: Please inform us of any access issues such as stairs or tight doorways. The Dance Floors cases weigh up to 150kg and is a 2-4-person lift. If communication regarding uneven access has not been given, then we reserve the right to cancel the hire, and a refund will not be issued.
  13. By paying the deposit set out on the Invoice, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out.
  14. Please note. You will receive a copy of our Terms & Conditions when booking in with us. Please bare in mind, certain points relate to certain services and may be subject to change.
